Obituary for Tammy Ann Bourquin

Tammy Ann (Slocum) Bourquin, age 61, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Tammy was born on July 15, 1960, in Worthington, MN to Earl and Rita Slocum. She graduated from Brewster High School in 1978. Tammy married Bryan Bourquin on June 18, 1983, and the couple lived most of their married life in Brewster having three children, Jessica, Tyler and Kendal.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Bryan; children, Jessica (Steven) Zinken of Sartell, MN, Tyler and Kendal of Brewster; parents, Earl and Rita Slocum of Brewster; grandchildren, Evelyn and Vincent Zinken; brother, Keith (Pam) Slocum of Saint Charles and sister, Debbie (Naser) Abu-Shark of Sioux Falls, SD; father-in-law, Harvey Bourquin; brothers-in-law, Mike (Laura) Bourquin and Scott Bourquin, both of Brewster, Jeff (Shawna) Hoy-Bourquin of Fulda; sisters-in- law, Sandy Bourquin of Worthington and Pam (Roger) Mueller of Stewartville, along with many nieces and nephews.
Tammy was a good caregiver to her family and friends. Her highlight in life was her grandchildren and spending time with them. We would like to also thank her many friends and the community for the support throughout her life. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Brewster American Legion on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
