Nicholas Lee Staples, age 33, was born on April 30, 1980 in Worthington the son of Ray and Barb (Fenske) Staples. Nick, originally from Worthington, MN and his wife of 3 years, Greda, lived in Hammond, WI. Nick worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Nick enjoyed cooking and spending time with his friends and family. He will always be remembered for his wit and good nature and also as Tiny Bubba J from his wrestling days.  Nick died suddenly of natural causes at his home on Thursday, October 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Greda, his father and mother, Ray and Barb Staples of Worthington, MN, brother Mitchell, (wife Ally) and niece Brenna, of Sioux Falls, SD and sister Meghan (husband Kurtis Lane) of Sioux Falls, SD, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Beverly Fenske and paternal grandparents, Gary and Mary Staples.
Christian Funeral Service will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Worthington with Father James Callahan officiating. Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, MN.
