Obituary for June Lorraine Wiese

Worthington, MN

     June Lorraine Wiese, 83, was born on June 12, 1926, in Worthington, MN. She was the daughter of Raymond and Hilda (Piscator) Middagh. June graduated from Worthington High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rushmore, MN. June married Harold Wiese on March 29, 1945, in Worthington and lived on the farm where she enjoyed her family, cards, fishing, birds, gardening, and she loved her farm. She was a member of project club for 55+ years and member of the Elks Lodge for many years. June died on Monday, November 9, 2009, at her residence near Worthington.
     June is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Fred) Knigge of Worthington, MN; her son, Allen Wiese of Lino Lakes, MN; grandchildren; Scott (Vikki) Knigge and their children, Sara Jo, Josh, and Samantha of Worthington; Dave (Jolene) Knigge and their child, Caden of Valley Springs, SD; Anna Lee (John) Polzine and their child, Jackie of Brewster, MN; Troy (Patty) Wiese and their children, Jessica and Karly of North Branch, MN; Ty (Kimberly) Wiese and their children, Travis, Tanner, and Trevor of Forest Lake, MN, and Tanya (Scott) Haberman and their child, Triston of North Branch, MN, and one brother, Charlie (Phyllis) Middagh of Worthington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1984, her parents, one brother, Dale Middagh, and daughter-in-law, Coleen Wiese.
     Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Rushmore, MN, with Rev. David Poppen officiating. Burial will be held in the Sunset Rest Cemetery near Rushmore.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington.
