Obituary for Edith Mae Koopman

Edith Mae Koopman, age 93, was born on August 25, 1926, in Onamia, MN. She was the daughter of Martin and Maryjane Covel. Edith enjoyed visiting up north with Paul and camping out west. She was a very good cook and loved Rice Krispies. Edith also loved Jesus. Edith passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington, MN.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Linda Kruger of Worthington, MN; son, Paul Koopman Jr. of Vacaville, CA; daughter-in-law, Janet Koopman of George, IA; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; daughter, Paulette; son, Bill; daughter-in-law, Cecilia, and sister-in-law, Verona Robinson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, MN, with Pastor Mark Schreiber officiating. Burial will be held in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
