Obituary for Carolee Kay Anderson

Carolee Kay Anderson, 44, was born October 18, 1973 and lived exuberantly until her death on January 26, 2018.
Carolee grew up in Worthington, MN with her mother Lore and brother Tony.
Carolee attended The University of Sioux Falls while raising her young children and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2004 and followed that up with a degree in Accounting 2 years later. She went on to become an extremely successful business owner of the Worthington H&R Block, and leader of the incredible team that she built and mentored. Carolee took her business to the top in the nation in 2015, earning her the highest award and recognition in her field.
Carolee’s family is her greatest accomplishment. She raised two remarkable children whom she was deeply proud of and loved fiercely. She married the love of her life, Scott in 2006. Their marriage was filled to the brim with adventures, support, and undying love. Her role as Grammy to her two beautiful granddaughters brought her such happiness.
Carolee lived a full life. It was so full of love, friendships, joy, accomplishments, strength and kindness. She loved to travel so as to see, experience and connect with different people and cultures. She was an avid bicycler and loved being outdoors. Carolee lived her life with such zest that she radiated happiness and spread her joy freely.
She is survived by her children, Kia and Ty Veen, Krista Anderson, her husband Scott Anderson, her grandchildren, Madilyn and Emma, her mother Lore Dynes, father Ron Reynolds, brother Tony Reynolds, nieces, a nephew, numerous cousins and a long list of friends.
The strength and resolve that Carolee exhibited throughout her beautiful life, all the way up to her passing is inspiration to us all. She leaves each of our lives a little better and brighter. We are blessed to have known her and we love her beyond measure.
