Obituary for BettyAnn Delores Harvey

Worthington, MN

     BettyAnn Delores Harvey, 81, was born on November 19, 1929, in Fertile, MN, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Grey) Larson. She married John Harvey on March 30, 1948, in Dakota City, NE. BettyAnn was a homemaker all her married life. John and BettyAnn raised 4 children. As a family they loved to travel. Later on they would winter in Arizona. She was a loving, giving, caring mother, a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. BettyAnn died on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Crossroads Care Center in Worthington, MN.
     BettyAnn is survived by her husband of 63 years, John of Worthington; four children, Lynda (Terry) McNab of Brewster and their children, Kelsey (Robert) of Fulda and Robert (Bobbie Jo) of Brewster, Roger (Cindy) Harvey of Worthington and their daughter, Brandy of Mankato, MN, Rodney (Donna) Harvey of Worthington and their children, Gina (Anthony) of Worthington and Jonathan “Shorty” (Vieng) of Worthington, and Carolyn Nichols and special friend, Paul Soleta of Windom and her children, Cheryl Nichols of Queen Creek, AZ, Kathy Nichols of Windom, Rachel Nichols of Windom, and Brenda Nichols of Windom; 18 great grandchildren, and one sister, Rose Marie Veenker of Windom. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Eva Jane Schultz, and grandson, Adam Harvey.
     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, MN. Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of arrangements.
