Obituary for Albertine Agnus Hesebeck

Worthington, Minnesota
 

     Albertine Agnus Hesebeck, 92, died on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington, Minnesota.
     She was born to Albert and Minnie Tramm on September 12, 1915, in Middletown Township in Jackson, Minnesota.  She entered into marriage to Robert Fred Hesebeck on December 29, 1935, in Jackson.  They farmed in Jackson from 1935-1941, then moved to Nobles County and farmed about 10 miles from Worthington, Minnesota for 16 years.  They were blessed with two adopted children, Gordon and Linda.  They moved to town in 1954.  Albertine worked for the J.C. Penney Company for 27 years.  She taught Sunday school at the American Lutheran Church, where she was a member, and was also in several ladie’s circles over the years.  She also was a volunteer for the Worthington Regional Hospital Auxiliary for 12 years.
     Albertine is survived by her daughter, Linda (Reid) Mosher, of Vincennes, Indiana; three grandsons, Douglas Mosher, of Sioux Center, Iowa, Jay (Kenzie) Mosher, of Spencer, Iowa, and Dean Mosher, of Storm Lake, Iowa; one great grandson, Camden Reid Mosher, of Spencer, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Minnie Tramm; four sisters, Jeanette, Eleanor, Frances, and Minnie; her husband, Robert, and her son, Gordon.
     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, Minnesota, with the Rev. Mike Zaske officiating.  Casket bearers will be Larry Winther, Richard Schaffer, Edwin Smidt, Douglas Mosher, Jay Mosher, and Dean Mosher.  Honorary bearers will be Wayne Gaiser, Kenny Wolford, Nathan Shaw, Herbert Shaw, and Robert Walker.  Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worthington, Minnesota.
 
Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran, 925 Broadway, Vincennes, IN  47591.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington.
