Obituary for Adella Theresa Hill

Worthington, Minnesota
 

     Adella Hill, 90, was born on July 5, 1917 in Leavenworth Township, Brown County MN, the daughter of George and Katherine (Ubl) Helget.  She grew up and attended country school in the Leavenworth area.  Adella married Clair Hill on February 12, 1945, in Springfield, MN.  They moved to Worthington, MN in 1949.  Adella worked many years for Campbell Soup Company.  She enjoyed her flowers, embroidery, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, and search-a-word puzzles.  Adella died on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings, Minnesota.
     Adella is survived by her children, Barbara (Jim) Nachtman of Apple Valley, MN, Mary (Dick) Ware of Tacoma, WA, Steve (Linda) Hill of Worthington, MN, and Pat Foley of Lakeville, MN, eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Clair, in 1998 and twelve sisters and brothers, George Jr., Emma Sturm, Hilda Hornick, Bertha Meinzer, Emil, Joseph, Marie Gannot, Rose Mertz, Alfred, Michael, Laura Schumacher, and Martin.
     Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington, Minnesota with Father Larry Brixius officiating.  Pall bearers will be Anne Vogt, Sara Winkler, Alison Woog, Stephanie Hill, Bryce Foley, and Bob Rowe.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Worthington.
 
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington.
